Marketing department forwards the Customers' queries to Engineering Department. A cross functional team of technically qualified and well experienced member’s checks on the feasibility of manufacturing the components at Singla Forging Pvt. Ltd. to customers requirements.
Then the Advance Product Quality Planning team (APQP) identifies and records various actions to be initiated. Necessary documents, such as Product Drawing, Quality Plan and Product Process Plan, Process Flow diagram, Process Failure Mode Effects Analysis (PFMEA), Work Instructions, error proofing activity plan, special characteristic identification are all made ready and based on these, trial production is done. The product is then inspected & tested to verify its conformance to requirements and then submitted to the customer along with Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) document and records for customer approval.
After the pilot lot is approved by the customer APQP sign off is prepared indicating that the company is ready for bulk production. A Continual Improvement Core Team (CICT) is there to deploy continual improvement Philosophy through out the company that benefits all customers as well as Singla Forging Pvt. Ltd..
The continual improvement action plan is implemented and progress is reviewed periodically to revise / update the same. The company has established & documented the purchasing control plan in order to ensure that all the purchased materials conform to their specified requirements.
